CUES Elections - 2002The CUES elections have a different format this year, in order to encourage more people to participate. If you want to stand for a committee post then you must submit a manifesto to Mark Clewlow (Queens' College) to reach his pigeon hole by midnight 13th February. Hustings for the posts will be held at the AGM, in LR4 at 13:00 on Friday 15th February. Although you do not need to attend the hustings to stand for a post it is a good opportunity to put across your views. After the hustings manifestos will be displayed on the CUES noticeboard. Voting will take place from 08:30 - 14:00 on Wednesday 20th Feb in the Baker Building foyer. To stand for a post you must be a member of CUES, the Chairperson and Junior Treasurer posts are only open to members of the current committee. Manifestos should be on no more than one side of A5 paper and include your name, college and year along with a proposer and a seconder who must also be members of the society. You might also want to include what you propose to do in the post and why people should vote for you! To find out more about the committee posts click on the list below...
