Oana Niculescu

Oana is currently working on liquid crystal adaptive optics for astronomy applications as part of her PhD.

She completed her MRes under the Connected Electronic and Photonic Systems programme at Cambridge. Previously, she graduated from Politehnica University of Bucharest as an Electronic Engineer, and worked on characterising thermal runaway in power MOSFETs at Infineon Technologies.

In her spare time, Oana spends her evenings watching films, going to the theatre and raiding in World of Warcraft. She is also co-creating YouTube content for her guild, Resolve.
