Fan Yang

Fan Yang received his BE degree with first class from the University of Sydney in 2017 and joined the CMMPE group, Department of Engineering, Cambridge University, as an MPhil student in 2018. He is continuing his research in the CMMPE group as a PhD student under the supervision of Professor Tim Wilkinson. The primary focus of his research is on hologram generation algorithms for two and three-dimensional imaging and displays. Ongoing projects include integration of perceptual losses with hologram optimization, and 3D acquisition and reconstruction for holographic displays.
