. Benjamin Wetherfield

Ben is interested in harnessing light and holographic technology to accelerate computations. He graduated from Harvard University summa cum laude in 2017, concentrating in Applied Mathematics. His thesis, titled A Graphical Theory of Musical Pitch Spelling, received highest honors. In his final semester of college, Ben was lucky to witness a demonstration of the Fourier properties of light in a one-off guest lecture. He has been fascinated by the field ever since.

A lifelong musician, Ben plays jazz piano and occasionally writes and records music. He was once nearly in the band Running on Everything and remains their number one fan.
