Synthesis of battery materials

We are interested in the one-step synthesis of materials of interest to battery operation, using combustion and arrangement of flow streams to produce small particles and coat them with hydrocarbons. Sampling and testing experiments have confirmed the ability to convert aerosolized precursors into useful battery materials. We are currently developing optical diagnostics for detecting products in piloted aerosol flame experiments.
