ePIXnet

Objective:

This project targets the development of compact and low power transceivers that enable wireless data transfer at sub-terahertz carrier frequencies and their application to future high data-rate short-distance communication links.

The European FP6 Network of Excellence ePIXnet provides a platform to its academic and industrial partners for sharing and integrating research facilities and research know-how in the field of photonic integrated components and circuits.

THEMES

Towards technologies for photonic VLSI

Nanophotonics

Advanced materials

Integrated and integratable light sources

Ultra-wide band photonic signal processing
