Priyanka de Souza is a Research Associate within the Centre for Photonic Systems, working on optical wireless communications, and is a Teaching By-Fellow at Churchill College. She has particular interest in low-cost methods of electro-optic integration, having completed her PhD in Organic Light Emitting Diodes (OLEDs) for communications applications in 2019 with the University of Cambridge (Jesus College).

Prior to this, she worked as a Technology Consultant for IBM. She received her BA and MEng degrees in Engineering (Electrical and Information Sciences) also from the University of Cambridge (Pembroke College).
