The Carbon Nanomaterial Biology, Medicine & Toxicology (CNMBT11) symposium dinner will be held in Christ's College.

The college was first established as God's-house in 1437 by William Byngham for training grammar school masters. In 1505, with a royal charter from the King, the College was re-founded as Christ's College. Christ's College has generated graduates who have made major and varied contributions to the intellectual, social and artistic life of the world. Charles Darwin (1809-1882), Jagadis Chandra Bose (1858-1937) and Robert Oppenheimer (1904-1967) are only a few of the Christ's College distinguished alumni that have challenged and changed the world of science.

The pre-dinner drinks will be served in the relaxing atmosphere of the Fellows' garden, a tranquil space, ideal for informal discussions. Besides the picturesque summer house there are working beehives and the famous Milton's mulberry tree which between them provide honey and jam for the fellow tea.

The MSIGN social dinner will be celebrated in the marvelous Hall, located in the first court, which is the oldest part of the college. The college's proud past cries out from every wall of this historic building, which dates from 1510. It provides a splendid setting for hosting prestigious guests. The raised high table confers an extra mark of respect. The catering department of Christ's college has been served the college community for over five hundred years offering impeccable service, excellent food and wonderful wines. During the formal dinner, when candlelight makes for an atmosphere occasion, the beauty of the stained glass windows and portraitures can be appreciated, making it a unique historic setting for the MSIGN11 banquet.
