Assessment - Marking
Marking is by the standard-credit laboratory scheme. To qualify (20 marks out of 28 marks) students must attend all the sessions for which they are required and must complete the three exercises to a satisfactory standard.
Please note that these marks envisage 4 exercises each carrying 7 marks: two sets are allotted to "Statics" the others to the remaining two exercises. At least one Statics mark is for the final report; you may wish to devise some scheme in allotting the other to give credit for active discussion and helpful criticism as well as the work on the draft report. The final report will have to be handed in by the student in due course for examination purposes.
