This satellite symposium of the Nanotube 2011 Conference is devoted to applied research and technology developments in the area of graphene. Graphene is a two dimensional allotrope of carbon, with unique structural and electronic properties. Keynote talks will be presented by leading researchers in the field, to give perspectives on the current status of graphene applications. The workshop will consist of both invited and contributed talks and posters spanning these areas, a dinner in one of the historical Cambridge colleges, and will close with a round table discussion. Exchange of results and ideas from different disciplines, and amongst researchers specializing in graphene and/or nanotubes will be highly encouraged.

The Symposium will be held over two days (15 and 16th of July). It will consist of both invited and contributed talks and poster presentations. A dinner in one of the historical Cambridge colleges will take place on the evening of the 15th. The symposium will close with a round table discussion.
