Design Verification for Medical Devices

Designers write specifications, design and then produce prototype devices. Medical device regulations state that designers must confirm and objectively justify that the original specifications have been met by following a process of verification.

Anecdotes suggest that this can be costly and error-ridden. This project is investigating the nature of the problem and proposing ways of reducing it.
