This a reminder of the increased CO2 emissions
in the last 1000 years, with one of the causes.
The concentration of CO2 was roughly constant at about
280ppm for 800 years (and probably longer) before the start of the
Industrial Revolution.

When this increase in CO2 , up to 360ppm, is fed into the climate model seen in the previous slide, the result is a much better match as shown in the next slide.
