Dr. Kun Li

Kun did his BEng in electronic engineering at University of York. He then joined the Engineering Dept., University of Cambridge in 2006 for his MPhil and PhD. He was working on laser micro-processing at the Centre for Industrial Photonics under the supervision of Prof Bill O'Neill. After his PhD, Kun joined the Photonics & Sensors Group in CAPE as a research associate, he is working on a project in collaboration with the Centre for Industrial Photonics.
His current research interests include:
- Laser patterning of electronic materials
- LC cell fabrication and the optical performance measurements
- Laser material interactions
- The effects of laser temporal pulse shape
- High speed imaging and shadowgraphy
- Heat conduction model
