Access to SupportNet (www.mentorg.com/supportnet) is available to all members who subscribe to Mentor Graphics via Europractice to provide additional information to their product portfolio. However, please note the following restrictions, which arise from the fact that Mentor Graphics is provided through the Europractice scheme, under which users are not allowed direct access to support from Mentor Graphics.

1. Users should not submit support requests via SupportNet. These should be sent to enquiries@msc.rl.ac.uk
2. Software product downloads of a later release then publicised on the Europractice/Mentor Graphics web pages (http://www.msc.rl.ac.uk/europractice/univs/mentor.html) will not be supported by RAL staff.
3. Any abuse of SupportNet will result in our site's future access to this service being withdrawn.
4. All users should sign up for SupportNet individually. To register go to http://www.mentor.com/supportnet/register.html
5. All users should use Mentor Graphics Site ID 145123 (which is the RAL - UK site in the Mentor Graphics Installed Base and Licensing database) - [updated 9th November 2006.]
6. All users should use the EUROPRACTICE / RAL address - see the example below.
7. All users should use Title : "Professor" to get the correct access level.
8. Users should use their University email address. Personal email addresses (i.e. 'hotmail' or 'yahoo') are NOT accepted.
9. Users should enter their EUROPRACTICE Site ID at the Comments field (in our case A35780).
