Welcome to the website of the British Liquid Crystal Society (BLCS).

The British Liquid Crystal Society welcomes anyone who is working with or interested in the science of liquid crystals. The society promotes liquid crystal science in the UK by organising an annual conference and occasional day meetings, by publishing a periodic newsletter and by sponsoring prizes and lectures in the liquid crystal field. Members automatically receive the newsletter, qualify for reduced fees at BLCS conferences and are eligible to vote and stand for committee positions.
