 Electronic Advice and Design

The Group has been offering an electronic design facility over many years. Designs in most of the major areas of electronics are undertaken, both analogue and digital, and from microvolt to kilovolt level. Over the past ten years, much work has been done in the areas of microprocessor-based systems, instrumentation systems, and power sources, sometimes leading to published designs. For many commonly encountered needs therefore, tried and tested designs are in place, and can frequently be adapted to meet a new requirement. An advantage of using in-house design is that equipment may subsequently be easily modified to meet new or changing needs. All development work is supported by a full range of professional test equipment.

Whether equipment is manufactured in-house, or bought-in, the EDG can offer guidance on system specification, implementation, and trouble-shooting.
