Dr Clapp spent 18 years with the Advanced Technology Laboratories of Nortel Networks before joining the Cambridge University Engineering Department in 2001. An employee of Dow-Corning Ltd since April 2003, he is currently an embedded researcher to the Centre for Advanced Photonics and Electronics (CAPE). From January 2007 to Decemebr 2008 Terry was the first Director of the Cambridge Integrated Knowledge Centre.

Research Interests:

Dr Clapp's research activities are in the evolution of optical technology and in the supramolecular sciences, and the application of advanced functional materials to photonics component technology.
