Rob Phaal is based in the Centre for Technology Management, part of the Institute for Manufacturing at the University of Cambridge, where he conducts research in the area of strategic technology management. Roadmapping is a particular interest, to support innovation, strategy and policy, aligning commercial, organisational and technical perspectives. Rob has industrial experience in technical consulting, contract research and software development, with a PhD in computational mechanics.
