What is the Cambridge Integrated Knowledge Centre?
- One of 6 UK IKCs funded by the EPSRC and the TSB with a mission to facilitate the commercial exploitation of academic science and technology in partnership with industry
- Set up in 2007 as a centre of excellence for low temperature, thin-film processing using molecular materials, such as polymers, liquid crystals and nanostructures, for applications in photonics and electronics
- A partnership between Electrical Engineering, the Cavendish Lab (Physics), the Institute for Manufacturing and the Judge Business School
Our Technologies:
- flexible photovoltaics,
- flexible displays and lighting,
- printed electronics and components,
- smart objects
- polymer waveguide systems
- liquid crystal on silicon
- transparent electronics and sensors
